Rave Framework is an open source project, maintained and developed by volunteers, to provide a .NET architecture primarily targeted to financial applications but extensible to others knowledge areas.

The framework pretends to mix Rich Client concepts in a highly flexible architecture, supporting pluggable and customizable features.

The features aimed for the financial applications includes:

• Personal accounting
• Financial markets database
• Mark-to-market
• Technical analysis
• MS Excel automation
• Other studies using:
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Data mining
  • Artificial intelligence

Open-source tools should be used and improved to offer rich charts and reports for the Rave Framework.
